SOUS CHEF

Location: Central London

Hours: Monday - Friday & occasional weekends

Wage : £19,500 - £28,000, depending on experience

Experienced Sous Chef required to work in a fine dining and banqueting kitchen in a hotel in Central London. You will assist the Head Chef in the preparation, cooking of food and ordering of stock as well as helping to plan menus. Qualifications / Experience Required: NVQ Level 1 and 2 Professional Cookery or equivalent; experience at Sous Chef Level in an award winning restaurant or hotel. Candidate Profile Experience of working in a busy kitchen; aware and used to an environment where statutory and internal standards & procedures must be followed; able to work under pressure; well presented and effective interpersonal skills; culinary management experience with demonstrated leadership and motivational skills; solid knowledge of basic food hygiene and Health & Safety; Customer focused.
